摘要
科学与艺术是相辅相成的：特别是从自然科学转向艺术领域更有条件。本文用了个人的实践 证明科学是艺术的根基和脊梁，艺术是科学的心灵和翅膀。我退休前是承担我国南北极科学考察船航线的气象预报和冰区导航任务，并亲自赴南北极参加实地考察和实时气象及冰区导航；经历过狂风巨浪肆虐咆哮西风带的洗礼、经历过巨大冰山和密集冰区堵路导航脱险的艰难和快乐，亲眼目睹了在困难重重的冰洋世界里，南极人不怕困难不怕牺牲敢于与天斗与地斗其乐无穷大无畏的革命精神；亲眼目睹了南北极风光独好的美景。由于特殊的经历对事业产生了深厚的感情；被南极人和南极精神所感动；被极地独特风光所吸引等等。退休后，就选中了通过艺术来继续为南极事业做点事的新梦想。所以说，科学是艺术创作的脊梁和根基；也是艺术创作的动力。目标就是表现南极人；表现南极精神；表现南北极的独特风光。让更多的人了解南极，发扬南极精神，彰显祖国南极事业的丰功伟绩。要实现目标需要通过艺术的魅力和技法来彰显风骨溧然的南极精神，创造出人间奇迹抵达南极之巅峰，建立了魏巍昆仑矗立在南极最高峯上，乘风破浪智闯魔鬼西风带 表现风景独特、冰山林立的冰洋世界，用神奇飘逸的极光美景借神话故事彰显祖国航天事业的迅猛发展， 这才能气韵生动，构建中国话语，达到凝聚中国力量目的，彰显出当今的时代风貌。艺术就是科学的心灵和翅膀。
经过十几年在海淀老龄大学和诸多名师所办的各种艺术学科高研班国画基础的培训，全面扎实的训练，特别是在最后进入国家画院艺术的最高殿堂于志学冰雪画工作室高研班。在于志学老师教学理念“一切在于创造，只有创造才有生命力”的指导下，我开始了追梦创造的艺术生涯。
创作的代表作作品有
第一章、南极冰洋画作品：1、诗书画为一体的代表作品：亲临其境并亲自负责导航躲过了三个气旋堵路时的险境智闯魔鬼西风带的诗书画为一体的作品“观海导航”并填词一首“渔家傲 赴南极过西风带”；创作了“山登绝顶我为峯”表现南极人不为艰险不怕牺牲的大无畏精神，经过多次队的努力终于在2009年在南极最高峰上矗立起魏巍昆仑站，五星红旗高高飘扬在南极之巅峰上空；
2、用了拟人化手法选用人们喜爱的企鹅来表现越冬队员的心情作品：“快乐家园”“对歌”、“盼归”、“归心似箭”等等作品。2015年我成功地举办了个人画展。
第二章、用了极光神奇飘逸的特点用抽象神话故事的手法创作了一批极光画“九天揽月”、“飞天女神”、“九龙遨游太空”等等彰显祖国航天事业的迅猛发展；
第三章、创作了南极天险咆哮西风带的系列作品：智闯魔鬼西风带、沧海万里若比邻、喜迎远方来客等等来表现赴南极过西风带的艰难险阻，和高度乐观主义的大无畏精神。
2015年举办了个人画展：由导师亲自题写了画展标题：“极地追梦者解思梅国画展”。大会主席于志学老师在大会上的发言是这样评价的：他说“解思梅填补了中国两千多年来美术史上的最后一个空白点—光的画法，而且不是自然光，是极光，难度更大。这是要载于史册的，是永恒的”；和题写了贺词“一品即出，群芳无艳”。著名书法家大会副主席简耀斌老师是这样评价的：解思梅：才思敏捷、红梅绽放、一枝独秀。极地之光、别具一格、画坛新秀。三大特点：具有五力：冲击力、穿透力、爆发力、震撼力、感召力。具有五气：正气、大气、豪气、灵气、秀气。具有五感：动感、质感、美感、音感、律感。总体认为：巾帼英豪，女中精英。
白首丹青追新梦终于人愿一场，圆了老年追新梦。老年追梦的过程就是进入人生的第二个黄金时代，体现出人生的价值，有价值的活着才有意义，把人生的余热尽最大能力发挥出来，像蜡烛一样燃烧到最后。追梦就是重返青春之动力

An abstract of Essay from Ms Simei Xie ,
Retired from National Marine Environment Forecast Center
Ms Simei Xie, Pen name Wujin, was born in Jimo, Shandong Province in 1941. As a doctor in Science , Doctor advisor and Researcher , she worked as the director of Research office of South Pole and North Pole in the National Marine Environment Forecast Center and is also granted with the State Council Expert for Special Allowance Ph. D. She ‘s also a doctor advisor and part time professor of Ocean University of China and Forestry University of North East of China .
Before retirement, she was engaged in the study of ice at the poles and global climate, undertaking tasks of meteorological forecast and ice area navigation for scientific expedition ships to the North and South poles. She also took expedition to the Antarctic for field visits , weather and ice area navigation on-site. And she helps to avoid accidents in the expedition to the South Pole by keeping on watch with precise navigation.
There was a TV program named “thousand-Mile Eye in the ship of snow dragon” and “devotion from the thousand-Mile Eye” in Oriental TV station in Shanghai, which tells her life story in scientific exploration .
All her inspirations come from the life experience on the sea to the pole, such as the storm in the westerlies, huge icebergs blocking our way, and barriers from the dense ice zone. Through these adventures , with extreme difficulty and greatest joy, she has experienced the mysterious power of ocean, fearless of facing the toughness of the Antarctic world by fighting under the sky on the expanse of sea. And the astonishing beauty of the North and the South pole nourishes and nurtures her.
After her retirement, her passion to the Antarctic life drives her to go on a path to do something for the poles . she loves people and the beauty of the landscape there. So she decided to use the form of art to express her loyalty to the land, to offer chances for people to understand the South Pole and the spiritual power of adventurers there.
Then she took the journey of learning art for more than ten years under the teaching of many famous painters in China such as Gang Zeng , Yunxiang Shi, Cunhui Liu. During this time, she has developed artistic skills in Calligraphy , Chinese poetry, characters painting , landscapes painting , flowers and birds painting, photography and image processing, and other basic skills related to the art of Chinese painting. Then she entered the dream school of Chinese painting, the National Academy of art in 2011, studying in the stadio under the guidance of Mr Zhixue Yu in the class of advanced learning of Ice painting . Under the teaching of "Creativity is the only way to create vital art work", she started to follow her dreams to create her own art pieces.
1, Creation of series of ice ocean paintings following techniques of ice painting, such as "Devotion to the South Pole" , "The unforgettable first time to enter the Arctic " “beyond the summit of the mountain”, etc.
2, using anthropomorphic technique to create a series of lyric paintings about penguins, such as "meeting on the ice ocean", "returning like an arrow", "Visiting mother’s place", "Reunion", "Happy home ", "Looking forward to return " “the sound of wave on the sea ” “Family moral teaching on ice ”and so on.
3. Creation of the artwork based on the experiences of going through the westerlies, such as "neighborhood on the expanse of the sea” “The dance of snow dragon” -"Breaking the barriers of westerlies ", "welcome guests from places far away” , which expresses a fearless spirit of facing the challenges of South Pole.
4. To highlight the features of the magic of Aurora, new series of paintings of aurora are created with mythological stories, such as "Capturing moon in nine levels of sky", “The phoenix ” "Nice dragons flying in space", "Chang'e refuge to the moon" and so on, which reflects the development of the space technology in China since the speech of Chairman Mao in 1960s .
In 2015, She successfully held my own art exhibition. Yu Zhixue, the president and the founder of the ice and snow painting school , said at the ceremony , "Ms Simei Xie filled the last vacant place in the art history of China for more than two thousand years, that is , painting of light. And it was not about ordinary light, it is Aurora, which is even more difficult. This should be recorded in the history of art, which will have an long lasting effect on Chinese painting .
Jian Yaobin, the Vice President of the calligrapher's Commitee, commented that " Her painting is so unique which can amaze people with penetrating , explosive power which can call up reaction from audience. There are also Five Qi in her painting, which is honesty, generosity, Proudness, Spirit, Delicatedness. The five characteristics are motion, refineness, beauty, melody and rhythm. In a word, Ms Si Mei Xie is the heroine of women. ”
5. Based on her 10-year unique exploration transferred from science to art ,she has proved her theory, that is , science is the backbone and foundation of art, and art is the wings of science.
Researcher in China Famous Artist Academy , master of Senior branch of Ocean University of China and opens volunteer classes of ice painting for 5 years.
Won Silver Award in the 2nd International Cultural Industrial investment Show in 2016.
In 2012, won Gold Award in the Poem and Art Show of the 1st Ocean Cultural Cup
Honored as the Star of learning of Beijing
In 2015, published the book, “Dream pursuer – Chinese Painting collection of Simei Xie”
In 2016, Stamp publishing named “Collection of Aurora and Ice painting of Simei Xie ”
Her main contribution to art is the creation of painting aurora and the ice painting of South and North Poles.
She has been awarded the certificate of marketing value for Famous artists in China

She also wrote essays such as “Pursue Your Dream as an Elderly ” , “Science and Art ” etc.
